| Physical Therapists: Asseses plans, organizes and participates in the physical rehabilitation programs, mobility, pain relief measures, strengthening, helping in the restoration of physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries and disease and working toward health care preventative measures of the long term acute care paitent. | | Occupational Therapist - Part-time: Helps patients with mental, physical, developmental or emotional issues to improve their ability to perform tasks of daily living. Helps patients perform all types of activities including but not limited to physical exercises used to increase strength, fine motor skills and dexterity. Demonstrates and trains patients and families in the use of adaptive equipment to enhance their overall environmet. Assists elderly patients in using skills to help maintain their independence, mobility of the upper extremities and help identify environmental factors that may impede their well-being. | | RN - Registered Nurse: Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Is responsible for directing and coordinating nursing care for patients based on nursing practice standards. Collaborates with other healthcare professional to provide quality, cost-effective and efficient care and to achieve the best possible patient outcome. Serves as a resource person when the situation requires. Applies age specific considerations and cultural diversity when rendering patient care. | | Respiratory Therapists : Performs routine respiratory clinical care including medication administration, arterial puncture, breathing exercises and retraining as well as the initiation and monitoring of oxygen therapy, impedance apnea monitors and pulse oximeters. In addition, performs critical care duties including the initiation of, management, and discontinuation of mechanical ventilation, endotracheal intubation, airway care and attendance at announced cardiopulmonary and trauma resuscitations. The Respiratory Therapist will assist in routine patient care and procedures such as: vital signs, turning of patients, assist in bathing, and monitor appointed staff members for the same |
